Final Tourny Round map.... This was a fun meeting engagement. A rush from the edges of the map for both teams to secure VLs around the center. As Allies I got stopped at the 1st row of houses and it would of been useless to cross the street and enter the second row, the row of houses behind the 2nd row houses to many german infantry and thier weapons were keeping me pinned. I rush at the end anyhow to contest one of the vls. I left sickf1 with 4 points, and myself 11 or so with a 2 pointer contested... As Germans I had a better plan. I ran 2 scout teams and an S35 to the Allies 1st row of houses to stop his advance... I killed 1 full heavy recce team and from the LOS on the road I seen his main force crossing by the church... He turned back when he seenthe S35. HE pulled his wolverine up, my s35 damaged it then was destroyed completely. In the south I had a Schweres MG42 in a 2 story building. Across the road an Allied Bren team was camped out but I didnt have LOS to it even tho it was 20meters away, this will be a good ambush I thought. Later on in the game that bren team with 2 other teams rushed the house and I didnt even know till it was all over... my mg42 team was all KIA. Anyways Sickf1 had a pretty hard job since I only left him with 4 pts in game 1.... It was fun and definetly alot of micromanaging tactics were used which was good... GG

Final round tourny map, 2 good battles. plated gerry first decided to grab the 2 2 pt vls and maybe position for an assult on 3 pt crossroad. MOOXE had other plans. managed to secure the 2 i was after but mooxe attacked the southern one and took it after i good fight. he then made an attack on my other south vl which my scout team picked up before he was in position and i was able to hold off. there was no way i could attack center or counter at the vl i lost so decided to try and hold what i had. mooxe made an assult on my north 2pt and in last seconds it was split. game ends mooxe 11 me 4. not good. in second game i attacked in south with objective of securing southern vls while covering all important crossroad vl. mooxe made his push in the north quickly getting teams accross the center road and positioning his pz35 in the road. had to run with my flame carrier and brought up my m-10. Dam 35 imobed him south of crossroad vl before he whent down. spent next few min trying to stop mooxe in north and had him held for a bit. meantime moved 3 teams into postion and assulted mooxe south 2pt, was over before he knew it was happening. now it was a battle for north mooxe moved forces around road back north and killed my rifle team at north exit and took took it. now it was a battle for the center, he still had his marder we both assulted and in the end i think he had it or was split as game crashed, none the less it was his game. good game fun as always.
