| it happened again. last 9 games out of 10. Stuff just wouldnt hit, or enemy inf were indestructible. I had the 2 of 3 vls for 99% of the game. Each foray to get the vl by the germs was repulsed. Unfortunately, my morts couldnt hit squat. 3 mort teams got about 4 actual mort kills. Once again most of my kills were in hth combat, of which germans seemed to come of best in every encounter. The only reason it was close was coz each time I executed either a good ambush, or had numerical superiority. In the end, armour was taken one by one. Firts stuart was taken well with a hidden mk3. Nice one. The next two were more dodgy, one shot one kill sort of stuff. Crom moving north decides to take a sideways _shortcut_ allowing enemy g tank to fire on the move and get it. Second crom was taken by schreck with one way full green los. To top it off, my zooks panicked and surrendered all at once. Even with position and numbers, if you cant kill stuff, you cant win. Some nice sneaking by recon, but really,....Cheers for the game....for what its worth. |
