What the hell was I thinking? Att-Def tourney map 7 at Nemj. and I concluded Allies had the advantage. Actually, I blame that on CaptAbrams, who pounded me as Allies in my only other time on this map. He made it seem so eeeeeeeeeasssssyyyyyyy. Somehow, I just cant make the Avre do what he does though, and this time, after a fine Allied penetration through the first two thirds of the map (only because it was undefended, but thats a detail), wwiiguy flames all probing infantry and moves auf units back and forth as necessary to do the rest. Armor rounds fired vs. infantry killed ratio told the story. I pounded and pounded, but the only victims were the poor Dutchmen who owned those (formerly) fine homes. Killed all of 3, yes 3, troops with 2 Fly, the 105, a Stu and the Avre. Sheesh. Once poor troops were ashes, aufs and shrck did the rest. Allies took a Mk3 as a token, accounting for the whopping 9, yes 9, points scored. Fergawdsakes what a beating. Abrams, did I mention I blame you? Hell, even that doesnt make me feel better; truth is, just an outstanding defense by wwiiguy. Well done!
