Random AARs By: Styer27 Opponent: Luft_Tiger Date: 2005-06-07| Tigers cauldron, it had been a while here for me on this map, but what a better way to play than with the creator himself! so i accepted germans and off we marched with rifles in hand. Germans got hit hard early on by some expertly positioned tanks meaning they were on the back foot for most the battle. The most annoying of these tanks was the inevitable croc hiding behind the large building, this flaming behemoth takes his fair share of kills but does more damage as a threat for nearby units cutting off supply to the partially, burned units. A fly east was also a thorn in my side and these two tanks became my primary objective. A rash and uncontrollable move by my mk-3 ends with a flaming mk-3. Soon after the expensive JPIV also stumbles into los refusing orders to retreat and finnaly gets blown also. This left me with one hetzer TD and a HFP for support. I finnaly got the allied croc blasting it with a flame burst into a heap of twisted steel, sending my morale skyrocketing. My remaining hetzer TD feels the buzz and takes back the battle eliminating 3 firefly with some amazing accuracy and ROF. The battle reached a showdown with my HFP guarding the middle VL with hetzer TD waiting to engadge the last fly. The allied driver of this fly was a cunning one, wheneverr the dangerous hetzer TD was spotted he would back away into a house blocking los, cat and mouse ensued for some time till i bit the bullet and sent my HFP into 58m range for a shot while my infantry kept the tank busy. The HFP raced into position and the quick draw was on, the fly turns fast toward the HFP and with barrel also turning he gains the advantage, stopping the barrel of the 17p cannon on the hull of the HFP, the german HFP fires a flame burst toward the fly right as the 17p shell leaves the barrrel, that flamer effect is viod leaving the fly unscathed to face the hetzer TD, but with only 6 rounds remaining, the german tank soon breaks and gets blasted in a vain suicide effort. A great game on a great map. Till next time tiger. |
